A LITTLE BIT

OF FESTIVE CHARM

Just 30 minutes’ drive from central Preston, Owd Barn at Bispham is set in a stunning 16th century barn. Its cosy surroundings are a perfect backdrop for getting in the festive spirit so why not join them at its Christmas shopping evening on Friday 8th November 6pm-9pm.

The event will kick-start your festive season with mulled wine on arrival, carols from CD Music Academy, treats galore in the gift loft, as well as stunning Christmas displays and decorations.

The shopping evening will showcase Owd Barn’s amazing range of homeware, jewellery, candles, clothing, accessories and Christmas decorations from Holland and across the UK. New to Owd Barn’s autumn/winter stock is sustainable bag company from Barcelona, Soruka.

All of its bags are made from upcycled leather with zero waste and include satchels, backpacks and small bags for all occasions. A great gift with a sustainable message.

New season jewellery pieces from Hot Tomato and Treaty include gorgeous sparkly gems that are perfect to wear at this time of year, or to treat your friends or family to this Christmas. Owd Barn is also a stockist of accessories brand Powder which offer a stunning range of hats, gloves, cosy socks and scarves all in seasonal colours of mustard, rust and berry.

The Lancashire Food and Drink Awards 2019 recently awarded Owd Barn’s tearoom highly commended, and at the shopping evening the tearoom will be open for you to choose from a limited winter warmer menu, serving until 8pm. You can also enjoy cakes and drinks by the fire to get you feeling even more festive before having a stroll round the Owd Barn farm shop which is brimming with chocolates, chutneys and treats as well as homegrown goods including cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli from the family’s own 200-acre farm. Orders are now being taken for Christmas vegetables and turkeys.

The Christmas shopping evening is always a popular event but there’s no need to book, simply turn up on the night to experience all that Owd Barn has to offer. There’s lots of parking, too.

As well as the shopping evening, you can book breakfast with Santa which is taking place on Saturday 7th, 14th & 21st and Sunday 15th & 22nd of December. This event needs to be booked in advance, so please check the Facebook page for availability. Tickets are £10 per child. There will also be Santa’s Grotto on Saturday 21st December, 12-3pm, £5 per child, booking isn’t required.
