The BeoSound Shape is a wall mounted system for design conscious music lovers, customised to elevate any living space. You can rearrange the tiles to form a new pattern, change the colours when you redecorate or add more tiles to boost sound performance or acoustic damping properties.
With the new wireless Shape system B&O is challenging the way we experience music and is not like anything seen before.
A beautiful blend of art and technology, the Shape speakers are well thought out on every level hiding an extremely intelligent sound system that cleverly uses a set up with multiple speakers that delivers concert-like surround sound.
It is a band on the wall, an orchestra in your living space, a wall of sound – it can be anything you want it to be – just choose your own modular, wall-mounted configuration. The Shape range consists of a combination of speakers, amplifiers, streaming modules and acoustic damper tiles. The minimum one wall will require is six, but beyond that there’s practically no limit to the number of tiles that can be utilised in a single or multi-room set-up.
The BeoSound Shape forms a series of hexagonal tiles. These tiles easily clip together to form different patterns, there is a variety of fabrics and colours from which to choose, and the end result is something more akin to wall art than a hi-fi installation.
At the heart of the system is the BeoSound Core connectivity hub which allows wireless streaming from Apple Airplay, Deezer, Chromecast, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth 4.1. The Core hub also uses Bang & Olufsen’s BeoLink system so the Shape system can work alongside other B&O and Beoplay products in a multi-room set-up.
The Shape has arrived as a result of B&O’s quest to integrate technology into the home in a totally new way, engaging music lovers in the creative process to decide how it will look and achieve the impact they deserve.
