PLANTING CONSULTATIONS
Forward-thinking founder Michelle Unsworth and her dedicated 12-strong team are all experts in their own field and So Plants’ three professional horticulturalists are always on hand to give visitors their advice: “We have a ‘right plant and right place’ consultation service where we visit a client’s garden and draw a plan as to what plants will work well and thrive in specific locations. It’s all about the plants,” explains Michelle.
NEW STOCK
With the arrival of spring So Plants has a huge selection of alpines, seasonal bulbs ‘in the green’, fruit trees, British-grown ornamental trees, seed potatoes and onion sets for grow-your-own enthusiasts, herbs, compost and a collection of specialist roses including Mum in a Million and My Lovely Mum – perfect Mother’s Day gifts!
March and April will also see So Plants’ introduce a huge array of home-grown perennials including rare and unusual varieties – look out for HGP on the label!
“We grow perennials that are suitable to the area and we grow them in the cold, which makes them hardy,” says Michelle, who has also introduced a new collection of garden containers including fabulous, rustic tree trunk planters, garden ornaments by British brand Willowstone, unusual wind spinners and a great-value range of country-inspired garden wall art and mirrors. A refreshed stock of trellis, archways and wooden garden furniture has also been introduced including benches, chairs and companion sets.
