Gail Bailey meets the inspirational team behind Ribble Valley Bathrooms, a brand new, all-inclusive bathroom showroom where customers can find everything they need to create the perfect room to start and finish the day
With over 33 years’ experience, Schofield Construction is pleased to be behind the brand-new bathroom showroom, which is due to open on Barrow Brook Industrial Estate at the beginning of February. The family-run company will offer everything a customer needs from a single accessory to a complete bathroom makeover including design, plumbing and installation.
“With so much experience we really are able to offer the highest level of quality in both customer service, technical advice and product,” explains Sophie Schofield.
Family is completely at the heart of the business with both Martyn Schofield’s daughters, Sophie and Abbie at the centre of the new store.
“I had always wanted to be involved in the family business,” explained Abbie. “When we noticed a gap in the local market for a complete bathroom service, the time was right for myself and Sophie to get on board and continue the family business ethos with this exciting new venture.”
Aside the fact that Ribble Valley Bathrooms can offer the entire package for customers, with no need to subcontract any of the work, Sophie points out that it is also the high standard of customer service that really sets them apart: “All of our customers will always have the same point of contact throughout their experience with us, and therefore a very personal and exclusive service will always be provided.”
With 27 displays over 273 square metres, and in the region of 17 different brands on offer, there really is something to suit everyone, and with both Sophie and Abbie having backgrounds in marketing, sales and customer service they are well equipped to talk customers through their expansive product portfolio and offer the best advice and solutions: “We have ensured all the brands in our beautiful product portfolio are not otherwise available locally or on the internet so we really can offer an exclusive service, but with a wide enough range to suit all tastes and budgets,” explained Sophie.
The ranges are from manufacturers right across Europe and include, Duravit who are a leading German company and one of the biggest suppliers in the industry and are notable for having employed many prominent designers including Philippe Starck, Zucchetti an Italian exclusive brassware company who are defined by their innovation, design, and quality, Catalano also an Italian company who are trend-setters in contemporary bathroom design and English Imperial whose products are all designed and hand crafted in England.
Sophie and Abbie are themselves keen to ensure they are completely on-trend with new bathroom innovations and totally understand that this room in the house is the start and finish of a person’s day – it needs to be a ‘wellness space’: “We maintain a passion for designing and installing exceptional bathrooms that not only meet practical requirements but offer a beautiful and relaxing space where a person can begin and end each day,” explains Abbie.
