Jane explains: “Working with British Gypsum, we can offer some genius additions to our homes, including the brilliant magnetic walls and super strength plasterboard. These are very clever innovations which completely transform home life.”
The magnetic wall is created by applying an additional layer of magnetic plastering to interior walls, enabling pictures and other adornments to be hung easily, just using readily available magnetic strip. No holes in the plaster and no problem if you want to move your picture to a new space later. Silent floor technology allows you to move around your home or turn up the TV when the children are in bed, without disturbing anyone.
The star of the show, however, is the super strength plasterboard. A Hollinwood Homes standard, this is an extra solid plasterboard which enables you to hang permanent fixtures and heavy fittings on your walls using only wood screws. No wall plugs or power tools are required. “You can try it out in the marketing suite.”
Demonstrating a true understanding of its catchment area, Hollinwood has included bungalows at Parkwood Chase. “They’re dormer bungalows, rather than true bungalows,” says Jane. “There’s a bedroom downstairs, so you can live at ground level and have rooms upstairs for family to visit.”
