Roy Porter Butchers in the heart of the busy bustling village of Chatburn, found nationwide fame when their pork pies were named as the best in the UK by Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans during National Pie Week!

The team at Roy Porter sources all meat locally and have full traceability on all their produce including their beef, which is traditionally hung for four weeks before being sold. Red Poll, Galloway, Dexter, Highland and Aberdeen Angus beef are available alongside rare breed pork, local lamb, mutton and free range chickens. All sausages and burgers are homemade on the premises too.

The in-house bakery makes around 2,000 pies a week packed with a variety of delicious fillings, from fun-size party pork pies through to a magnificent 5lb slicing pie!

When feeding a crowd, Roy Porter can supply individual pies in a variety of flavours to feed as many hungry people as required! Ready meals such as lasagne, cottage pie, lamb hotpot, steak and ale and sausage casserole are also available and you can even take along your own dish for them to fill.

Please feel free to ring or call in the shop!
