Brimming with Spring Delights

Spring is in the air and there are new beginnings at the ever-popular Owd Barn at Bispham, writes Sarah Ulyatt. Photography: Roger Moore

Located in the picturesque West Lancashire countryside and just 30 minutes’ drive from central Preston, Owd Barn at Bispham has so much to offer this spring, so why not pay them a visit to see for yourself.

Its farm shop, tearoom, country store and home and gift lofts are brimming with spring delights. There are beautiful spring and Easter decorations, including glittery eggs and adorable rabbit ornaments, as well as stunningly planted spring displays, including urns planted with mini daffodils, blossom and pussy-willow.

In the gift loft, new season stock from Powder UK includes show-stopping embroidered headbands in a range of seasonal colours – they’re sure to sell out quickly so snap them up quick! Matching bags will complete the look, along with its new range of statement sunglasses.

New stockist at Owd Barn is Kate of Kensington which produce unique marble platters taking inspiration from the flora and fauna of the Great British countryside. The perfect multi-purpose platters are finished with a heat-resistant sealant meaning they can be used in a variety of ways including as a pot stand, serving tray, cheese board, cake stand, place mat, food platter, coaster, bread board, candle stand or a display piece. The possibilities are endless.

With all of this on offer, as well as a delicious homely menu in the tearoom, afternoon tea at just £14 per person (bookable 48 hours in advance) and seasonal products in the farm shop, Owd Barn at Bispham is the place to visit this spring.
