BUSINESS IS BLOSSOMING…

Katie Rose Florist is a new family-run business in Whalley featuring beautiful blooms and gorgeous gifts

Bringing a young, fresh and vibrant approach to floristry is Katie Rose Woods who has recently launched a beautiful boutique flower shop on King Street.

Katie Rose Florist covers all aspects of floristry, specialising in stunning contemporary designs using the very latest techniques – all personally delivered locally by Katie’s family.

Occasion bouquets and arrangements for celebrations, weddings and funerals are put together by expert Katie, 19, who has five years’ industry experience and is currently studying for a BA Honours in Floristry and Floral Design. Katie is joined by her mum Tracy, Georgia Grooby and qualified florist Claire Sirkett, who is a demonstrator with the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) and who will be heading up summer workshops with Katie Rose.

Katie Rose Florist also stocks a selection of hand made local gifts including chocolates, wax melts, room sprays, cards, plants and foil and latex helium balloons.

Katie Rose opened its doors in February this year and since then business has blossomed as Katie explains: “I think people like the fact that we are a young team and can offer all the latest trends in floristry.

“At the moment the trend is for neutral colours with lots of greenery and leaf manipulation.”
