Business group raises £14,826
A Preston business group has raised £14,826 in support of Trust House Lancashire with a charity ball held at Ferrari’s Country House Hotel. The chosen charity for BNI Diamond, which meets weekly in Preston, is Trust House Lancashire, one of 15 Rape Support Centres established by the Home Secretary in 2013. The network group raised the money as part of a £220k charity commitment by BNI groups in Lancashire.

Award winning spa
The Spa at Stanley House has retained the coveted award for fifth successive year. The Good Spa Guide, an expert guide to UK spas and treatments, has granted the Spa at Stanley House its sparingly awarded five bubble rating following an intensive evaluation by an independent ‘spa spy’. The review cited the green fields and gentle hills that can be seen from the relaxation room, along with a floor-to-ceiling window, giving an ‘unusually uplifting view over the fields’ in the Finnish sauna, plus the hydro pool’s glass walls that allow guests to glimpse flora and fauna ‘with birds swooping around the small lake’.

New estate agent
A new estate agent has opened its first office on Garstang High Street. I Love Homes has been launched by Garstang resident James Diggins following the success of sister company I Love Park Homes. James, who achieved fame in 2017 with his appearances on Channel Five show Bargain Loving Brits in Blackpool, has launched the new estate agency to provide an independent service to home buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords in the Garstang, Wyre and Preston areas.

Waterfront development
Botany Bay Designer Outlet Village will create a distinctive, new build retail led mixed use development of the highest quality, attracting leading brands to Chorley and creating a unique visitor experience. The new build retail experience will provide 223,211sq ft of accommodation and customer services within a mix of linked unit sizes, agile enough to respond to market conditions and tenant needs and the village itself has been designed to complement the current waterside location.
