Christmas Cocktails And Festive Fun
The festive season is in full swing at Clitheroe’s Esc Coffee and Cocktails, writes Gail Bailey
Founded in 2014 Esc CC is the perfect spot to catch up with friends and family – either for a delicious coffee, a boozy bottomless brunch or to enjoy an evening of creative cocktails – and never more so than at Christmas.
Owner Naomi Watson is decorating the bar ready for the festive season, so shoppers and party goers can soak up the atmosphere: “Our bar is renowned for being cosy, but this is even more so at Christmas time. We have five beautiful Christmas trees in the bar areas and an array of wonderful drinks for customers who are in the town shopping or enjoying some festive fun with friends in the evening,” she says.
There is a month of Christmas cocktails or festive fizz at Esc CC – or a wonderfully, warming Christmas hot chocolate. But it isn’t only drinks that are available – on a Saturday and Sunday there is a fabulous brunch menu available between 10am and 3pm and this can be made into a bottomless brunch for those who fancy something a little bit more special: “We also have a bottomless pizza on Thursdays and Fridays where customers can enjoy any choice of pizza, fries and bottomless prosecco, wine or beer for up to 60 minutes. Both are ideal for anyone to enjoy either in the middle of a Christmas shopping spree, afterwards – or just to have a festive catch up,” Naomi adds.
An Esc CC gift voucher is the perfect present for a bottomless brunch or pizza or even to enjoy a wonderful evening of cocktail making with an expert mixologist to guide you through an array of different creations – which of course, you then get to drink and enjoy!
There is also a private room to hire upstairs at Esc CC – a wonderful spot to party and relax with your favourite people: “Our private hire room holds up to 40 guests,” Naomi explains. “It has a wonderful atmosphere and especially so at Christmas.”
But if all you need is an escape from all the hustle and bustle of Christmas then Esc CC is your go-to spot – you can hideaway enjoying a speciality coffee and a choice of delicious cakes!
