Christmas San Sebastian Style

Party at Bar Pintxos this Christmas with bookings now open for groups and parties

The new venue taking the North West by storm, is the best place to relax with friends and family or party in the run up to the festive season with friends and colleagues.
At £35 per head, you can enjoy unlimited* Pintxos, speciality Paella and Cava from mid-November every Thursday, Friday and Saturday!
Themed in the style of a bottomless brunch, enjoy Pintxos including a selection of firm favourites and some surprise festive treats from the Catalan and Basque region of Spain.
It will most definitely be a white Christmas, as you enjoy a glass of Anna, from Raventós Codorníu one of the region’s finest sparkling wines and the oldest wine-grower in Spain.
Or while you soak up the atmosphere try a Spanish beer or Basque wines such as the light, sparkling Txakoli.
Pintxos are small bite-sized skewers featuring some of the finest delicacies famous in the Basque region. Created as ‘food art’ they are designed to be enjoyed while socialising and are the perfect party partner to friends and fizz.

The Concept
Bar Pintxos is the dream of city entrepreneur Anthony Smith, the man behind the exclusive, charity, secret supper club Six Seats.
Dishes include grilled fig and goats cheese, manchego cheese and serrano hams, stuffed mushrooms with brandy, garlic prawns all freshly made each morning.
“San Sebastian has more top Michelin starred restaurants than anywhere else. The food from the region is the best and I wanted to bring a taste of that, and its characteristic atmosphere to the people of Preston.”
“People can come in at lunchtime and order a drink, along with a pintxos, or they can get a couple, and pay for the number of skewers left on their plate at the end like they do in Spain.”
“The pintxos are a fusion of tastes – inventive, exciting. I am using authentic continental produce but will also be championing the best local produce too.”

The Team
The Bar Pintxos team can’t wait to welcome you. Bringing flamenco to Preston’s Flag Market, you won’t meet a friendlier crew who are on hand to make sure you have the best time.
Continuing the authentic vibe, you will be looked after by our eclectic mix of English and Spanish staff. Offering a very warm welcome they will keep the drinks flowing and talk you through the menu of Pintxos so you can be sure to try everything.

El Burro
If you prefer to sit and dine as part of your festive fun, then take a seat upstairs in the space known as El Burro.
Here booths provide a cosy corner with dark wood benches, luxurious fabrics and walls peppered with artwork from the San Sebastian region.
The view of the city through the glass upstairs is breathtaking and provides a leafy frame to the famous flag market beyond.
Families are always welcome at Bar Pintxos and there is a mini Pintxos menu for younger diners to enjoy.

The Experience
We’re fast gaining a reputation for the place to be in Preston. Here’s what some of our guests say…
“Great decor, fantastic atmosphere, very friendly staff. Faultless.”
“The food was exceptional.”
“Staff are friendly and helpful. If you fancy a bite to eat and dance after this is the place to be.”

Menu
Served from our amazing kitchen, you can enjoy a fabulous selection of Pintxos this festive season.
