Explore the quiet byways and country lanes in the heart of the Ribble Valley on a state-of-the-art electrically assisted e-bike – what better way to enjoy the great outdoors!

With a range of up to 60 miles, a state-of-the-art e-bike is the perfect solution to exploring the countryside on two wheels and the James’ Places Group of country inns can arrange fully charged bikes to be ready to roll when you check-in to any of their Ribble Valley locations.

Andrew Bailey, James’ Places Digital Marketing Manager, explains: “We are absolutely delighted to bring our guests this new experience. This is a great collaboration between James’ Places and Ribble Valley E-Bikes –we have come together to bring this concept to visitors so they can enjoy the beautiful countryside and any of James’ Places venues.

“They can arrange a single day or embark on one of the two-day safaris enjoying a two-night, two-hotel stay – cycling during the day and enjoying dinner at their chosen hotels in the evening.”

James’ Places can provide delivery and collection plus concierge luggage transfer – and all bikes come complete with back-up services from an expert technician, who will ensure the bikes are fully charged and serviced on delivery.

“The concierge service makes a terrific difference – at the end of their stay guests will also be driven back with their luggage to their base hotel. They don’t have to worry about a thing. It’s a unique experience and a reason to embark on a staycation this summer.”

Road, hybrid and off-road e-MTB bikes are all available to hire plus James’ Places can also provide advice on routes and en-route pit stops plus a rescue service if you suffer an unrepairable puncture or technical issue with the bike.

James’ Places can also deliver e-MTBs to the extensive Gisburn Forest Mountain Biking Centre, where you can explore miles of traffic-free woodland trails offering varying degrees of challenge – from beginner to expert!
