A degree can help improve your career prospects immeasurably. Why not discover more at St Mary’s College, where students can take advantage of flexi-learning in a vibrant educational environment

Stuck in a dead-end job with no chance of promotion? Are you seeking a new challenge or a change of career? Or maybe you’re looking at your future earning potential and don’t like what you see?

At St Mary’s College in Blackburn there is a whole host of Higher Education opportunities including Foundation, Honours and Masters degrees that could propel you further than you ever thought possible in your future career.

You can also earn while you learn too as the majority of courses are conducted out of normal working hours, meaning you can continue your current job and fit the course around your lifestyle while studying for your degree.

Those who have family and work commitments have the opportunity to enjoy an ultimately flexible learning environment that sees each student allocated a dedicated tutor to help and guide them through their degree.

Teaching is often conducted during the evenings or at weekends, giving students the opportunity to enjoy learning in a pressure-free environment on the St Mary’s campus, which is renowned for its forward-thinking, progressive approach to education.

Accredited and awarded by Liverpool Hope University and UCLan, a degree from St Mary’s College is a prestigious achievement. St Mary’s College has recently been awarded a TEF Bronze award, alongside Liverpool Hope who hold a Gold rating for their standard of teaching.

This year 46 per cent of all St Mary’s College degree students gained First Class Honours and in Business Studies a whopping 83 per cent of students gained First Class Honours degrees!

Often not requiring traditional A level entry level, degrees from St Mary’s are delivered by university lecturers in a wide range of subjects. Some of the most popular subjects are in Education, Business and IT, and new for 2019 are two new degree courses – Sport and Exercise Science and Sport and PE aimed at those who are interested in any form of sport and who may not have A level qualifications.

With small class sizes and free on-site parking, the St Mary’s campus is a vibrant hub of learning for undergraduates – many of whom are in their 30s and 40s looking for a change in career.

Degree fees vary according to each course but funding options and costs can be viewed on the college website.
