Estate Life

Gisburne Park is a 1,000-acre estate surrounding Gisburn, owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving destination called Ribblesdale Park

Gisburne Park Estate successfully executed our first few weddings over this last summer. Thankfully they all ran smoothly and the weather was glorious on all occasions. What I have envisioned has come to life and exceeded our expectations. We are only doing a limited number of weddings so don’t hesitate to contact the estate office if you want a guided tour.

Your marquee or tipi is surrounded by 70ft cliffs, overlooked by 300-year-old beech trees and is perched on the tributary of Stock Beck and the River Ribble and its yours exclusively for the whole week.

Upstream, beyond a picturesque bridge and set back slightly from the river’s edge is your magical, spacious three-bedroom Riverside bridal house and suite from where you can watch your dreams unfold. Riverside House is yours for seven nights and has a large dressing room for wedding party preparations, two further bedrooms which are accessed by a separate staircase, two bathrooms, large kitchen, dining room and two lounge areas.

I am proud to boast that we are the largest venue in the Ribble Valley and can accommodate well over 200 guests overnight in state-of-the-art lodges, historic houses and cosy cottages, all with private hot tubs.

At the end of last month we also welcomed Big Chief Tipis to the estate for our first Tipi Open Day. The weather was once again kind and we had lots of couples exploring the venue. We only want to work with the best and have teamed up with some formidable suppliers from the north of England and Big Chief are one.

On Ribblesdale Park, our holiday village, we have a few lodges for sale starting around £100,000. These come fully furnished with spacious decking areas and views of the Yorkshire Dales. If you would like a private tour of our show homes please don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange a viewing.

Hindelinis, our gourmet cafe, is excited to introduce to you our new signature cocktail the Gindelini – created with a blend of Bombay Sapphire gin, tonic and ice, with raspberry schnapps and served with blue candy floss which is placed on the drink at the table. Watch as the candy floss melts and changes the flavour and colour of your cocktail.

We are open every day from 8am and in the evenings on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

For all enquiries don’t hesitate to call us in the Estate Office on 01200 415300.
