ESTATE LIFE

Gisburne Park Estate is a 1,000-acre estate surrounding Gisburn, owned and managed by Guy Hindley, who is converting it into a thriving tourist destination called Ribblesdale Park

For the first time in a few years the Ribble Valley has been enjoying some incredible weather. This has been a welcome change especially as we have had a number of photo shoots on the estate for our new wedding business. I hope it continues through the summer!

It’s been extremely busy so far this year showing various brides around the estate as they look for the perfect wedding venue. Nestled within 1000-acres of historic Ribble Valley countryside, I am now opening the doors for a limited number to create the wedding of their dreams. Perched on the tributary of Stock Beck and the River Ribble, there is no other setting like this in the UK and its yours exclusively for the whole week. Your tipi, marquee or Sperry tent sits near the water and is surrounded by 70ft cliffs overlooked by 300-year-old beech trees.

Upstream, beyond a picturesque bridge and set back slightly from the river’s edge is your magical, spacious three-bedroom Riverside bridal house and suite from where you can watch your dreams unfold. Riverside House is yours for seven nights and has a large dressing room for wedding party preparations, two further bedrooms which are accessed by a separate staircase, two bathrooms, large kitchen, dining room and two lounge areas.

I am proud to boast that we are the largest venue in the Ribble Valley and can accommodate well over 200 guests overnight in state-of-the-art lodges, historic houses and cosy cottages all with private hot tubs.

As always we have a few lodges for sale starting around £100,000. These come fully furnished with spacious decking areas and views of the Yorkshire Dales. If you would like a private tour of our show homes please don’t hesitate to get in touch to arrange a viewing.

Hindelinis has recently introduced some new, lighter somewhat healthier items onto the menu to welcome this gorgeous weather. The salad menu has been completely revised introducing a number of new salad options such as a pearl cous cous with fresh mint and goat’s cheese and a crab and shrimp salad with apple. We have a new burger section on the menu with a number of impressive options. Don’t panic – the all-day breakfast section that is now the most popular in the valley hasn’t been touched!

Ribblesdale Park is pleased to announce that we have hit 50,000 followers on our Facebook page. Please follow us for estate news, free holiday competitions and various wildlife updates.

For all enquiries don’t hesitate to call us in the Estate Office on 01200415300.
