EVENTS TO IMPRESS

With the glorious start to the summer we’ve had, everyone’s attention has been focused on making the most of the great outdoors

Bowland Marquees has the experience, expertise and a fantastic range of marquees to make any outdoor event a truly memorable experience – should it be in the balmy Mediterranean temperatures of late or even the dampest of Lancashire days.

Whether it be a beautiful traditional petal pole marquee in which to host a rural styled wedding reception, a contemporary and versatile stretch tent to host a corporate function, or a Chinese hat pagoda in which to hold a special birthday celebration, Bowland Marquees will work with you to find the perfect marquee.

With exceptional customer service coming as standard, Bowland Marquees will conduct a complimentary site survey to establish the most suitable marquee for your needs, discuss with you the desired look, feel and scale of the event and provide a free, no obligation quotation.

Proving exceptionally popular this summer is the petal pole marquee, with its name owing to its pretty petal-like scalloped roofline. Similar in style to the very desirable and much higher priced sailcloth style marquee, the petal pole marquee is definitely one for the traditionalist with its distinctive flowing roofline, wooden poles and having the option to be fully open, partially closed or fully closed with either solid slides or full-height windows.

Always a conversation piece, owing to their sleek lines and flexible layouts, are Bowland Marquees’ range of stretch tents. Purchased from a world-class manufacturer in South Africa, these structures can fit almost anywhere – be it in a field, a back lawn, or even on hard standing areas.

Bowland Marquees’ stretch tents have graced wedding receptions, car shows, music festivals and even events as memorable as the recent unveiling of the plaque in Crow Park, Keswick to mark the award of World Heritage Status for the Lake District National Park. HRH The Prince of Wales and other VIPs enjoyed the view from a Bowland Marquees stretch tent back in March of this year.

More suitable for a smaller, more intimate events are Chinese hat pagodas. They can fit into an average sized back garden and can be joined together to create a larger entertaining space. These very attractive and cost-effective structures can be open, partially closed or completely enclosed to create a fabulous, cosy space.
