With its farm shop, licensed tearoom and gift and home interiors loft, the Owd Barn at Bispham and The Spud Shed retail barn combine to make a wonderful one-stop destination for everything Christmas.
Making it even more festive, Christmas pop-up markets will be there every Saturday from 20th November to 11th December 10am-4pm, featuring local makers and crafters selling everything from beer and gin to jewellery, toiletries, wax melts, wooden gifts, artisan bread and cakes. All perfect for Christmas gifts or to enjoy a cheeky festive tipple.
There are festive treats aplenty in the Owd Barn farm shop with ‘Williams Handbaked’ biscuits and cakes as well as a huge selection of chutneys and homegrown vegetables from the family’s own 200-acre farm. Orders are now being taken for Christmas vegetable boxes and Christmas trees and wreaths will also be available to purchase from the first week in December.
The cosy setting of Owd Barn is a stunning backdrop to their beautiful Christmas decorations and displays as well as the home and gift lofts which are packed full of inspiration to either treat yourself, or others. And after a bit of shopping why not relax and treat yourself to some home-made winter warmer food and drinks by the log burner in Owd Barn’s licensed tearoom.
The Spud Shed, situated opposite the 16th century Owd Barn, has been open a year and is home to a range of local businesses including a florist, ladies’ boutique, kids wear store, hairdressers and yoga and pilates studio.
The Spud Shed and Owd Barn at Bispham have so much to offer, and with lots of free parking and only 30 minutes’ drive from central Preston, it really is the perfect place to relax, shop and eat this festive season.

The Yoga Collaboration
The Spud Shed offers a perfect country setting for The Yoga Collaboration’s boutique Yoga, Pilates and Wellbeing studio. With its peaceful, clam and tranquil atmosphere, this is a perfect place to escape to, allowing you to take time just for you.
Offering something for every ability and age, classes are small and social and include Beginners Yoga and Pilates courses, Gentle Yoga Flows, Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga. There are also courses in pre and post-natal Pilates as well as Yoga in pregnancy.
