Victoria Yu the owner of the Cantonese restaurant Yu and You, Ribble Valley, has recently opened Oceans Fish and Chips in St George’s Shopping Centre, Preston. The unit itself has benefited from a complete refit, creating a modern and clean interior and also providing a seating area for 40 customers to dine in.

Locally deli shop TOTI, located next door to the Cartford Inn has recently launched its own brand of chocolates with help from local chocolatier Bryan Townson. Jeanie Beaume of TOTI has worked closely with Bryan to come up with seven of the most tantalising flavours of chocolates. Including Candied Nut and Bourbon Caramel and Blackcurrant and Liquorice.

Lancashire based chocolate manufacturer Choc Armor, was successful in gaining two world bronze awards for its Turkish Charm and Bitter Orange at the International Chocolate Awards. The awards were founded in 2012 and are run by a group of independent partners based in the UK, Italy and the USA with years of experience tasting and evaluating chocolate.

Winners of the Lancashire Tourism Awards were recently announced at an awards ceremony held at Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Well done to Potters Barn, Ribchester which was awarded the Best Lancashire Tearoom. The Cartford Inn, Little Eccleston which achieved Best Lancashire Pub and Dewlay Cheesemakers, Garstang which won Best Lancashire Producers.

Celebrity foodie visits Lancaster
The man who loves a good pudding will be sharing his culinary anecdotes with foodie lovers. Gregg Wallace best known for his judging on BBC cooking show, MasterChef, will be appearing in his new live show Gregg on Food at the Lancaster Grand Theatre on 27th January 2018. On the night Gregg will be giving out culinary advice, as well as behind the scenes tales. There will also be a question and answer session after the show.

The Health Shack, Preston is proud to announce it is Preston North End’s latest signing. Since opening its doors in 2016 The Health Shack has become a common choice for health fanatics and sports people. The shack offers healthy meals and snacks and has therefore become Preston North End’s official away matchday food supplier.
