A new restaurant in Preston is proud to bring fabulous, affordable food to the table. Flanagan’s Brasserie is a new restaurant in the heart of Preston located within Winckley Square. It offers guests a warm and welcome atmosphere making the brasserie a perfect place to gather with friends, family or colleagues for lunch, afternoon tea or an evening meal. The team aims to provide all guests with an unforgettable dining experience.

Hospitality awards
An awards programme has been launched to recognise the stars of Lancashire’s hotel and hospitality industry. The inaugural Lancashire Hospitality Awards will champion and reward the top performers in the county. The awards night will take place on Friday 1st February at the Winter Gardens.]

Behind the scenes
One of Lancashire’s leading gin makers is bringing back its gin bar, as well as introducing public tours around its distillery. Brindle Distillery, which produces the award-winning Cuckoo Gin has been given the green light to re-open its bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is also set to introduce distillery tours on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons.

Celebrating food and drink
Marketing Lancashire has announced plans for its second Taste Lancashire food and drink conference. Tickets are now on sale for Taste Lancashire 2019, being held on Tuesday 5th March at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe. This prestigious event will challenge, inspire and celebrate Lancashire’s £1.04 billion food and drink economy. Bringing together producers, retailers, buyers, chefs, hoteliers, food and drink entrepreneurs and exporters, as well as key influencers, delegates at this gathering of Lancashire’s most influential hospitality movers and shakers will hear from industry experts and commentators.

Food on the go
Pizza lovers will be pleased to hear that a new eatery opened in Preston’s Market Hall, just before Christmas. Pizza Box is one of the latest traders to set up in the renovated Victorian canopy which only opened in February last year. Craig Haworth and Samantha Gent are behind the new venture, which makes speciality pizzas to delicious milkshakes and where you can enjoy lunch on the go with freshly made pizza slices.
