A family run business with the customer right at its heart, the team at Harmony Voyages boasts travel industry knowledge spanning more than 45 years – they really do know what they are talking about.
Andy and Angela Schofield along with fellow director Steve Flynn are the people behind Harmony Voyages – an exclusive Clitheroe-based travel agent and tour operator, which prides itself on personal service, luxurious accommodation and creative events that are ultimately memorable.
From festival holidays to river, sea and clipper cruises featuring top bands and cultural activities, Harmony Voyages has the experience to create superb adventures.
As a niche tour operator, Harmony Voyages creates unique music cruises featuring world class musicians, whilst under their ‘Costa Festival’ brand, they offer music festival holidays based in four and five-star hotels with performances from 70s and 80s legends such as The Animals and Fairport Convention, Midge Ure and Nick Kershaw with a host of talented singer songwriter artists completing the line-up at each festival.
“We have been chartering ships for many years, having featured the Mekong, Cambodia and Vietnam, as well as the European rivers – the Rhone, Rhine, Danube and 2026 sees us chartering two river cruises along the Douro River in Portugal,” explains Andy.
“Our relationship with key suppliers allows us to charter luxury yachts, river cruise ships and of course the iconic Star Clipper ship – we give travellers a totally bespoke service.”
Speaking about the Star Clipper, which sees travellers embarking on a five-star adventure, Andy explains: “This is a voyage that people aspire to – a complete one-off experience on board the world’s largest fully masted clipper ship offering the olde world feel of teak and brass alongside the comfort of modern-day luxurious cruising.”
While Harmony Voyages is renowned for its festival and group trips, the team are now based on King Street in Clitheroe, where they aim to expand their offering of independent holidays: “If someone wants us to organise a special trip to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, for example, or perhaps a ‘bucket list’ trip of a lifetime, we can pull all the elements together. It is very much a collaborative personal experience, and as fully bonded travel agents and tour operators we can cater for all holiday needs.
“By operating an appointment only system allows us to really focus on the specific needs of the individual to ensure the right person from our team is allocated to looking after them.”
