HAIR CARE REVOLUTION

Repair and regenerate hair with a revolutionary new product, writes Amanda Killelea

It’s the biggest hair care revolution of the decade and it is brought to you exclusively by Freddie’s. The luxury salon in the heart of the Rossendale Valley is one of the first salons in the country to introduce Schwarzkopf’s state-of-the-art system to repair and regenerate hair that has been damaged by heat, colour, over-styling and sun.

The new BC Fibre Clinix system is tailor-made to each individual client’s hair-type to make hair up to 10 times stronger and return it to its virgin state, meaning glossy, bouncy, vibrant hair which can last for up to two months post-treatment.

Schwarzkopf have been working for 10 years to develop the three-step in-salon treatment which revitalises hair which has been damaged by chemicals and heat.

Step one is to cleanse the hair with the gentle Tribond shampoo to ensure the treatment can get right through to the inner hair follicles.

Step two is to treat the hair with a choice of two BC Fibre Clinix treatments – one for fine hair and one for coarse hair – to connect the inner hair bond for improved resilience and strength, whilst the outer hair structure is sealed for better manageability and shine.

Step three is to use one of five fibre clinic boosters to target the client’s specific hair needs – whether that be coloured hair, fine hair dry or curly hair, unmanageable hair or damaged hair.

The results of the in-salon treatment last for up to 30 days, but clients can increase this by using the specifically formulated Bonacure shampoos and conditioners at home to make the effects last for up to 60 days.

Freddie’s stylist Matthew Threlfall hails the new technology as ground-breaking. “This is definitely one of the biggest technological hair-care breakthroughs of the last 10 years,” he says.

“Whilst certain bonding treatments protect the hair during colouring, this can be used at any time to revitalise the hair and the effects are instantaneous.”

“It works to replenish the hair back to virgin hair quality and takes away years of colour and heat damage. It makes hair feel silkier, softer and easier to manage at home. Your hair literally looks and feels brand new.”

The products work by targeting both the inner and outer hair structure. So firstly the triple-bonding technology builds new bonds by creating a three-dimensional network inside the hair fibre to increase elasticity and resilience.

Secondly the highly protective conditioning agent works to replace all 21 proteo-lipids which protect virgin hair.

When hair is damaged it loses this protective layer but the Fibre Clinix technology is able to restore it to take hair back to its natural, healthy state.

Matthew adds: “The clients I have used it on so far cannot believe the results. We always strive to make our clients feel a million dollars when they walk out of the salon, and this product definitely delivers.”

BC Fibre Clinix costs just £20 per treatment, and there is a £5 discount for clients who purchase the complementing take-home products.
