The beautifully refurbished Mytton Fold Hotel has become the venue of choice for a whole host of events. From glamorous weddings for up to 250 guests, small intimate family gatherings and conferencing spaces that are totally unique in their diversity.

The remodelling of Mytton Fold has gone far beyond the hotel’s elegant new look – the whole space has been well considered on every level giving diners, guests, newlyweds and business-people the opportunity to use the layout as they wish.

While the restaurant and the Calder Suite are in the main hotel, the other function suites are independent with their own separate facilities, including beautifully laid-out gardens.

With flexibility at the heart of Mytton Fold, small family gatherings, including christenings and funerals, conferences and meetings along with large corporate events, are all possible.

This endlessly versatile venue has become renowned for weddings in the elegant Ribble and Abbey Suites, which together can seat up to 250 guests or alternatively for a smaller event they can be used separately seating 70 and 180 respectively.

For weddings the rooms are lavishly decorated with abundant floral displays – couples can also marry outdoors in one of the delightful gazebos in the private gardens with stunning countryside views over the Ribble Valley.

It’s no secret that Mytton Fold is a delightful wedding venue – but what about the other opportunities that the hotel can provide for corporate clients, clubs, charity dinners and private dining?

While a full range of package options are available for corporate events, you can design your own programme with the help of Mytton’s dedicated events team.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the options:

Calder Suite: Perfect for small business meetings, the Calder seats up to 14 delegates. Meetings can be on a day or overnight basis and the suite itself has conference table and flat screen TV for presentations. Situated within the hotel, the Calder can also be used as an intimate private dining room – often used the evening before a wedding or for small family celebrations.

Abbey Suite: The largest space within the functions facility that stands independently from the hotel and has full disabled access. Each of the three suites within the single-storey building has been totally refurbished to feature French-style chandeliers, elegant heritage colours and panelling with well-considered, discrete partitioning that can open up or close off adjoining spaces. On its own the Abbey can cater for 180 as a stand-alone suite but with the partition panelling open to the Ribble Suite, the space can cater for 250.

Ribble Suite: Like the Abbey and Dunsop, a flat screen TV and projector can be used in here – just let the events team know your requirements. Hosting up to 70 guests or delegates, the Ribble is perfect for charity lunches or larger business meetings. When dressed, the room is also a magical venue for weddings too.

Dunsop Suite: This is a versatile space that is attached to the Abbey Suite. As it adjoins the larger suite, the Dunsop can be used as a ‘breakout’ room or for a buffet during meetings or conferences. For weddings it can be used as an adjoining soft play area for children separate from the main function room while for a prom event it can be used for a photo booth.

The 37-bedroomed Mytton Fold Hotel is perfect for just about any event. For weddings and parties it is the ideal celebratory space and for corporate use, it is a smart choice for conference or theatre-style presentations and meetings.
