2020 was a year like no other, with the pandemic impacting the wedding industry across the world, causing many couples to put their wedding plans on hold.
Whether you are a couple who has had to postpone your big day and are still looking for your dream venue for 2021 onwards, or if you were lucky enough to have a lockdown engagement and want to get started with your wedding planning journey, the wedding team at Mytton Fold Hotel are on hand to help.
We know that wedding planning can be stressful, even without a global pandemic, and that’s why when you book your wedding at Mytton Fold, you are given full support and guidance from an experienced wedding co-ordinator, from your very first enquiry through to the day of your wedding itself.
Mytton Fold Wedding and Events Co-ordinator Emily Potter explains: “We have regular appointments with couples to really build up a picture of what they want from their wedding day, meaning that when the big day arrives we can take care of even the smallest of details, allowing brides and grooms to relax and enjoy the most important day of their lives. We always go above and beyond to exceed expectations and to ensure that the couple have the most perfect day.”
From helping helping brides and grooms to choose their favours, to guiding them on music choices and table plans, having a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to run through everything step by step keeps couples organised and calm.
Every wedding is unique, which is why all wedding packages are bespoke to each couple.
Emily adds: “No two weddings are the same and it’s important to see the couple’s personalities shining through in their colour schemes, table centrepieces and even food and drink choices.”
Every wedding breakfast menu at Mytton Fold is personalised to each couple’s tastes, allowing them to select each course. If the couple have a favourite dish, Executive Chef Liam Cooper will work with them to recreate this, meaning that no two wedding breakfast menus will be the same.
Couples can choose to host their civil ceremony in the contemporary settings of the Raikeside Suite or surrounded by panoramic countryside views and landscaped gardens in the outdoor gazebo. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests can enjoy drinks and canapés while enjoying the stunning views in the hotel gardens – the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs.
The beautiful Abbey Suite was purposely designed for weddings and can seat up to 250 guests for the wedding breakfast. This bright, spacious room is self-contained and belongs exclusively to the couple and their wedding party for the entire day.
In the evening, the resident DJ entertains wedding parties and guests can choose to relax in the bar area or dance the night away on the iconic dancefloor. Mytton Fold offers a discounted bedroom rate for all wedding guests, and for the newlyweds the luxurious Bridal Suite is complimentary for the night of the wedding.
There is availability for 2021 and Mytton Fold has already seen a high volume of bookings for 2022 and 2023.
