Leagram Organic Dairy is based in Chipping where Lancashire cheese was first made commercially

Leagram Organic Dairy produces many award-winning cheeses. The dairy offers a large range of flavours including the native creamy, crumbly and tasty Lancashire, together with a mild Cheddar, a buttery Double Gloucester, a smooth Red Leicester, numerous creamy goat’s and sheep’s cheeses, all using milk from local farms. All the dairy’s cows’ milk cheeses are produced under organic standards and all the cheeses are made to the highest standards, yet still made in the traditional way by hand and finished by dipping in hot wax to seal in the texture and flavour.
