Sarah Varley heads to The Men’s Room, Clitheroe to find out how owner Joseph Lanzante has created the perfect blend of traditional and modern male grooming with an atmosphere to match!
The Men’s Room is one of the most famous barber shops in Lancashire thanks to charismatic owner Joseph Lanzante and the team’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in male grooming.
As Joseph explains: “I think the most important difference is that The Men’s Room isn’t just a barber shop – it is a male grooming salon. Our speciality hot towel wet shaves using cut throat razors and our expert advice on shaving, hair and skin care, attracts men that are looking for something more than just a quick ‘sit, snip and see you later’.

The team includes Kevin, Caleb and Sasha, and as Joseph explains: “Our job is to make the men of the Ribble Valley look good and feel great and we seem to be doing just that.”
