Trusted advice and the latest technology await visitors to the latest branch of Stonehouse Homes. Established in Walton-le-Dale since 2012, the independent estate and lettings agent opened on Longton’s Liverpool Road this autumn.
“Clients say that as soon as they enter they know we are different,” says director Karen Rushe. “We train our team to treat every house as if it were their own – it’s no surprise that 50 per cent of our business comes through recommendations.”
Karen balances the latest house-sales technology with traditional values. “We offer aerial photography with a drone,” she says, “and the top package on RightMove.
“At the same time, customer service is what we are all about,” she adds. “We appreciate that your house is your biggest asset.”
Fair and honest valuations are intrinsic says Karen, who runs Stonehouse Homes and a team of five with husband Mark. Her customer-care philosophy includes regular updates, liaising with solicitors, and aiming to diffuse the stress on moving day.
The successful lettings service at Walton-le-Dale is also being replicated in Longton. “We can find landlords, administer and promote from here,” she says.
