The Patek Philippe Dome Clock
This limited edition mantle clock is created in collaboration with Baccarat in the finest crystal and 18ct rose gold. It is powered by the caliber 17’’ PEND mechanical movement rewound by an electric motor and features exclusive decoration that was inspired by the chandeliers made by this venerable French firm – a custodian of exceptional skills, as is Patek Philippe. A recipient of the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France, the distinction awarded to France’s finest craftsmen, it took up to 40 hours of concentrated work hand-engraving the geometric relief patterns adorning the different areas – bevelled diamond-cut for the body of the clock, and rosettes for the dome and the dial centre. The hour circle is embellished with black-enamelled Roman numerals. The Patek Philippe dome clocks are exclusive and form part of their collection of Rare Handicrafts. Height: 158 mm.
