PHILIP STANHOPE GRAND CHESTERFIELD SOFA
This beautifully proportioned Chesterfield by Fleming & Howland is the perfect solution for marrying iconic British design with a modern fresh colour. The leather is coloured by hand using specialist water-based dyes that are applied onto full-aniline cow hides. Several layers of colouring, waxing and polishing are required to seal and soften the leather. This hands-only technique creates the softest patina possible, surpassing any other tannery-produced leather currently available. The ‘Slate’ colour shown here is one of three colourways that form part of the Monochrome collection. All items are made to order at Fleming & Howland’s Burnley workshop, with bespoke sizes on request.
