Now faced with all the modern pest control that the 21st century has to offer, Peter and his friends fight for the affections of their neighbour (Rose Byrne) making sure to cause endless mayhem for Mr McGregor along the way.

That is, until the dark shadows of Anastasia’s past return to the scene and threaten to destroy everything the couple so longed to achieve. With deceit, betrayal and treachery around every corner, the couple quickly find that the reality of their married life is more than what they’d bargained for.

Directed by George Clooney, this dark comedy-drama provides an ironic twist on the sublime banality of the idealised 1950’s American suburbia. The Lodge family move into what they think is the quiet, rural end of town for a life of tending picket fences and front gardens. But they soon discover the darker reality behind this idyllic façade. After the shock murder of his wife, the aptly named and previously mild-mannered Gardener Lodge, must carefully navigate his way amongst this community of deceit and duplicity to protect his son against the dark underworld of their treacherous society and the enemies within.
