Moving business premises always presents a challenge, and although Clitheroe based Twitter Lane Interiors have only made the move across the road from their previous shop, the process has been no less stressful as the new building required a full renovation.

No stranger to design projects, owner Alexandra Chapman and her team have transformed a former menswear shop on Moor Lane into a light and airy space that perfectly showcases their capabilities as interior designers.

Alexandra, who completed the renovation project whilst expecting her baby, which is due this month, tells me: “The renovation has been a long process but now we are finally in it’s a fantastic space. The ground floor is now our library where clients can browse a huge range of fabric, wallpaper and paint samples. Our workroom is on the first floor and on the lower ground floor we have a hand-picked range of furniture, lighting, accessories, rugs, mirrors and giftware.”

The business has been established for over 13 years and the team specialise in handmade, beautifully crafted home furnishings, which are all made in-house. In addition to this bespoke service they also offer a full interior design service and work on a large range of domestic and commercial projects, sourcing everything from furniture to lighting and consulting on colours, styles and layout.

“We pride ourselves on our customer service and attention to detail,” Alexandra tells me. “Every aspect of our business is driven by the desire to create high-quality classic interiors that are tailored to fulfil each individual design specification and functional requirement.”

“Our new season collections have just arrived and we encourage people to pop in and have a browse. Clients are welcome to borrow our fabric and wallpaper books and we can also order samples. We offer free, no obligation quotes and advice.”

With brands including Luxaflex®, Jane Churchill, Zoffany, Osborne and Little, Colefax and Fowler, Mulberry and Little Greene Paint, there is something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Alexandra summarises: “Our priority at Twitter Lane Interiors is to produce unique, high-quality interiors that will stand the test of time. With a relaxed and friendly approach, we ensure that all our customers enjoy their experience with us, whether they are simply looking for a gift in the shop or undergoing a full re-design.

“We hope that clients enjoy visiting our new premises and we look forward to welcoming them and showcasing what we have to offer!”
