Featuring fabulous fashion labels, shoes, accessories, lingerie and candles, michelle.b has become synonymous with pure luxury. Having been in business for 16 years, founder Michelle Berkins has created a boutique that has many loyal customers, who love visiting the Barrowford-based shop with its comfortable chairs, fresh coffee and welcoming atmosphere.
“We have customers who have stayed loyal even when they’ve relocated to Europe! Our customers are our friends and we pride ourselves on helping them look their best,” explains Michelle, who along with her team, provide expert personal shopping and styling advice.
Some customers enjoy visiting michelle.b so much they make a mini-staycation out of it – as Michelle’s husband Kevin owns the Fence Gate and Fence Gate Lodge, it presents the perfect opportunity to enjoy a marriage of fashion and food – perfect!
Over the years the boutique has evolved into a truly social environment where friends meet up and shop – it is also child, dog and husband friendly: “Our dog Betty greets everyone. More importantly husbands love visiting us as they are greeted with a big comfy chair, fresh coffee and the daily paper,” adds Michelle, who is delighted to be introducing prestigious new brands to the store this season.

Michelle and her team, who have recently introduced an online shop, are also looking forward to a series of exciting developments including in-store events and fashion shows for which the boutique has become renowned.
