PERFECT POD

Hand-crafted by artisans, these lovely pods can be tailored to perfectly suit your individual needs

An enterprising new start-up, Ribble Valley Pods, has recently unveiled their glamping wonders to the world!

These luxurious pods are hand-made here in the Ribble Valley by skilled craftsmen, who have many years’ experience.

Made of top-quality materials, come rain or shine Ribble Valley Pods can be whatever you want them to be. They’re a home from home, a garden office, a romantic escape or a simple shelter after a long day in the Ribble Valley countryside.

Aimed at differing markets, the pods come in three sizes as Andrew Henry explains: “The small pods are ideal for fishermen, walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, as a warm shelter.

“The medium pods are perfect as a home office or garden room.

“The larger pods are great as glamping pods for those wanting a romantic break, with plenty of opportunities for Instagramable moments!”

All Ribble Valley Pods are extremely durable and can be tailored to each individual. The pods have a strong, rigid CNC frame and a tiled roof, full insulation and underfloor heating, while within the Scandi-style interior there is pine cladding, downlighting and sockets with USB ports.

The larger pods come with kitchenettes, shower-rooms and built-in double beds and sofas as standard, and all the pods can be tailored exactly to your needs, from an extensive range of options including bluetooth speakers, flat-screen televisions, mood lighting and combi-ovens. Not forgetting the wood-fired hot tubs!

Off-the grid glamping is also possible as the pods are available with a solar-panel and generator pack meaning they can be located in remote areas.

The experts at Ribble Valley Pods can also carry out feasibility studies for businesses and landowners looking to add glamping accommodation, advising on the projected return on their investment based on extensive knowledge of competitors’ rates and occupancy figures. They can also manage the whole planning process from application to installation.

“We offer a full turnkey service,” adds Andrew, who has been exploring a wide range of businesses that may benefit – from glamping sites to wedding venues needing extra accommodation and PLCs who are looking to help their staff work from a home office.

“Some employers are helping with the costs of setting up a home office in order that employees can re-organise their working lives,” explains Andrew.

“We are thrilled to be based in the Ribble Valley using local craftsmen. Together we have over 50 years’ experience in residential and chalet construction. We are keen to promote local tourism, helping landowners to diversify away from agriculture and generate new income streams.

“Whatever you need from your pod, we can advise and craft it just for you.”
