As ShoeMed Clitheroe proudly enter their third year of successful business, they have launched their spring and summer collection to ensure you have both comfort and style throughout the warmer months.
Husband and wife team Julia and Neil Howarth pride themselves on their outstanding fitting service. Providing a full complimentary consultation, they will spend 40 to 50 minutes getting to know every individual’s needs and foot history so they can then match the feet with the correct shoes or insoles.
“Since we opened in Clitheroe we have seen an increased need for people to have properly fitting shoes,” Julia tells me.
The new collection boasts a wide variety of styles including sandals, walking shoes, casual trainers and more formal shoes. The spring, summer colours include fresh pastel shades and silvers and golds.
Julia expressed: “It’s important for us to keep up with styles and trends. We want the shoes to look good as well as feel great.”

The expert team at ShoeMed are incredibly knowledgeable on conditions affecting feet including Plantar Fasciitis, Diabetes and Morton’s Neuroma. ShoeMed work closely with podiatrists, GPs and the local hospital, who refer many patients to them.
Julia and Neil welcome walk-ins, no appointments are necessary but please allow plenty of time. “We are also happy to help with any queries or questions you may have, so even if it’s not a pair of shoes you are after, pop in and we will see if we can help with any problems you may be experiencing,” adds Neil.
The shop stocks a range of accessories including creams and sprays as well as compression socks and insoles, gift vouchers are also available. All customers are welcome to use the pay and display car park adjacent to the shop.
