Recycled Winner

These innovative runners are made from recycled materials to create a beautiful focal piece

For its first foray into 100 per cent recycled homewares, Ligne Roset launches All the Way rugs, marrying strips of cork with recycled swimsuit and T-shirt offcuts from the Portuguese garment industry.

Winner of a competition held by a group of cork manufacturers for her patent-pending cork fabric, designer Susana Godinho’s combination of eco innovation, surplus materials and traditional weaving techniques is the epitome of sustainable craftsmanship.

Commissioned by Ligne Roset in a soft neutral and pastel palette, All the Way rugs benefit from cork’s natural durability and thermal and acoustic insulation. With cotton and wool strips across the warp and Godinho’s innovative woven cork fabric across the weft, each unique rug and runner is finished with a tassel made up of corresponding offcuts.

Non-conformist, avant-garde and trend-setting, Ligne Roset is famed for its collaborations with up-and-coming design talents, alongside a commitment to technical innovation and sustainable development.

While furniture collections are manufactured in-house in rural France, accessories are sourced across Europe, with Ligne Roset providing a global platform for independent designers thanks to its extensive distribution network.
