A new riverside facility at the award-winning Cartford Inn caters for corporate events in a setting that generates creativity and productivity
With the opening of their new River House venue for private and corporate events, The Cartford Inn now offers a setting like no other in Lancashire for hosting business meetings and other corporate functions.
The scenic location and characterful, stylish design, together with some of the region’s best hospitality, makes the inn a special retreat for executive discussions and important client meetings, a short distance away from the M6, Preston and Lancaster in the picturesque Fylde countryside. The private, two-floor River House facility is also an ideal venue for management training and team building courses, as well as a secluded environment for exclusive dining and entertaining.
The newly reconstructed building was previously an on-site barn looking over the inn’s outside dining areas and across the riverscape to the quietly beautiful Bowland fells beyond. The venue has been designed in keeping with The Cartford Inn’s rural surroundings and styled and furnished with the same attention to detail seen throughout the rest of the award-winning country inn and boutique hotel. Inside, reclaimed oak panelling and hand-painted wallpapers feature alongside works by local artists. A highlight of the design, the colourful lighting fixtures were created exclusively by local master glassblower John Ditchfield and the windowed front affords delegates privileged views of the picturesque scenery. The effect is a uniquely inspiring setting conducive to creativity and productivity.
The River House is available for a range of corporate functions. The main room facilitates undisturbed boardroom meetings for up to 20 delegates. It is suitably equipped for theatre-style conferences and ideal for training courses, whether they are first aid at work or management training and team building days. The Cartford Inn works with expert management training providers to organise bespoke courses based on your desired outcomes and objectives, including change management, sales coaching and SME leadership development programmes. These courses are already popular with regionally based companies as well as nationally recognised organisations.
