Star-Studded Online Launch

Local automotive aftermarket specialists, Sterling Automotive, made their entrance into the luxury vehicle customisation world last month, unveiling their new brand and latest project, Heritage, during a star-studded online launch

Following high levels of celebrity pre-launch anticipation, including special mentions from Olly Ollerton of Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins and Boyzone star and car enthusiast, Shane Lynch, the stage was set for Sterling to reveal all during a live, invitation-only event broadcast from Hippo Motor Group’s state-of-the-art showroom in Blackburn.

As part of the evening’s entertainment, Sterling Managing Director, Carl Williamson, talked host and motor journalist, Nick Daman around some of the automotive detailing experts’ creations, such as the Audi Q8, Ford Ranger, Jeep Wrangler, Volkswagen Caddy and Ford Transit Custom.

However, the main attraction of the evening was undoubtedly the introduction of Sterling’s all-new Heritage brand, from which came the unveiling of two reimagined British icons, the classic and brand-new Land Rover Defenders.

Brand Director, Doug Topott, explained how Sterling had masterminded and crafted the Defenders to live alongside one another: “It’s impossible for us to be a British automotive design house without addressing the most iconic British vehicle ever produced, the Land Rover Defender,” Doug said.

“Almost all aftermarket companies customise the Defender, but we wanted to approach the project in a different way.”

The reimagined Land Rover Defenders, as well as Sterling’s other creations are all available to view at www.sterling-automotive.co.uk.

If you would like to see the star-studded launch you can catch up via Hippo Motor Group’s YouTube channel or visit Sterling Automotive’s social media channels.
