The Venue
With a range of packages, such as ‘Centrepiece’ or ‘The Best is Yet to Be’, you can customise your special day to suit your individual needs and budgets.
Choose from three party rooms across two locations, all licensed for civil ceremonies and complemented by our NEW wedding garden. Purposefully designed without grass to avoid sinking heels, the space is ideal for reception drinks and al fresco dining and is quite simply picture-perfect for your wedding album with ornate styling reminiscent of a historical abbey and folly.
From the Highland-themed Glenmore suite, complete with antler chandeliers and old beams to the sizable Cromdale, featuring a conservatory lounge area, large dance floor and private entrance, the Fence Gate can cater to your needs and any theme.
But if it’s intimate opulence you want, then look no further than Bar 1782. With elegant oak panelling, a baby grand piano and granite bar, the venue, which also has a private entrance, really has the wow factor.
Accompanied by award-winning accommodation at our Fence Gate Lodge across the road, the venue has 24 luxury bedrooms, holds a Five Gold Star AA rating and was named ‘Perfect Stay’ in the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2023 for the second year.
