Live Ribble Valley Singles Supper Club recently got together for a country walk and, previous to that, enjoyed an evening of lively conversation and great food at Tiggis
Live Ribble Valley Supper Club met for a four-mile walk from Downham. While it wasn’t a promising day with Pendle cloaked in thick grey mist, walkers finished the trek at Greendale View Cafe without getting wet or lost!
The walk followed a Singles Supper Club evening at Tiggis at the beginning of the year, when there were more new members. Hosted by Lynn Scholes, the evening saw more gentlemen attend the event – making it a 60/40 split between ladies and men – the largest gathering to date.
Twenty-five guests enjoyed great food, wonderful conversation and the opportunity to meet new people. Gianfranco and the team at Tiggis delivered amazing food and impeccable service.
Host Lynn said: “Some feel trepidation walking into a group of strangers but within minutes they are drawn into the group and never look back. Based on the feedback at Tiggis, I look forward to seeing new and established members next month.”
