“We want all our customers to have their own MINI Adventure,” says Daniel Gibson, Sales Manager at Bowker MINI in Blackburn.

“Our knowledgeable staff are on hand to talk through any questions you may have about the MINI models. They can also arrange a 48-hour test drive in the model of your choice and will happily show you around one of the 100 new and Approved Used MINIs we have in stock.”

This year, a change to the MINI range means it now only takes five simple steps to order a personalised car and the team at Bowker are dedicated to find the perfect brand-new model for you.

“First we will help you select which model is right for you. Do you want a three or five-door hatch, road trips with the roof down in a convertible, or something a little larger like the Clubman or Countryman?”

“We even let you choose the type of engine which suits your driving style the best. There’s everything from a 102bhp 1.5 litre three-cylinder petrol engine, through to an engine with a little more torque – the 192bhp, 2.0 litre Cooper S.”

Buying a new car is exciting and the 2019 MINI range is available now in three very different styles; the Classic, the Sport and the Exclusive. Each model brings distinctive character, with specific alloy wheels, interiors and external design features.

“The Classic will always be popular and has been designed to stand the test of time,” says Daniel.

“It includes a DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity and a 6.5” colour infotainment screen. The MINI One three-door Hatch Classic starts at just £16,190 on the road, up to the MINI Cooper Countryman Classic at £23,285, on the road.”

Building on the timeless features of the Classic, the Sport blends the immediately identifiable outline of the MINI with a sporty body-kit, larger 17” alloy wheels, sports seats, leather steering wheel and cruise control.

Daniel adds: “You can also add on, at no extra cost, the John Cooper Works Sport Suspension, which makes the legendary go-kart handling even more precise.”

The final addition to the new MINI range is as fantastic as the name suggests. The Exclusive range of cars come with unique Roulette Spoke 17” alloy wheels, chrome radiator, sumptuously comfortable leather sports seats and steering wheel adding the level of luxury you’d expect from this brand of car. Surprisingly, there’s no difference in price between the Sport and the Exclusive, both start at £20,230 on the road for the MINI 3-door hatch.

Furthermore, a lot of the optional extra packs that buyers could previously add on have been covered in the three new styles – the John Cooper Works Sport Pack and Chili Pack have been included on the Sports and Exclusive models.

“There are some optional extras which are very tempting,” says Daniel. “You can add on the Navigation Pack for £900 or include the Navigation Plus Pack which gives you a bigger touch screen, wireless charging and Remote Services which allows you to control aspects of your car from your smartphone. Then there’s the Comfort Pack which makes your everyday driving experience easier with a collection of indulgent extras inside and out.”

There’s also additional driver aids which are covered in the Driving Assistance Pack. For as little as £800, this pack adds automatic braking, crash detection and camera-based driving assistance systems which will help increase your awareness.

Daniel says: “The final step of a purchase is Personalisation. It’s the most fun and the stage where the car can become as unique as its owner.”

“It starts with choosing your favourite colour, from solid Pepper White to Solaris Orange metallic, then you can stamp your individual style with a panoramic glass sunroof or darkened rear glass – the list is endless!”

Bowker is able to offer a range of finance and purchase options, including Motability, where a nil advance can be offered – a drive away deal on your MINI.

Daniel concludes: “If you already own a MINI we will be more than happy to welcome you in for your annual service and MOT.”
