Taste Perfection

Talented chef patron Bob Geldeard has created a wonderful offering for customers to enjoy Christmas at the Rum Fox, with consistently stunning food and excellent service: “From 1st December we will have a set menu for lunch on Wednesday to Saturday and on Wednesday and Thursday evenings,” he says. The menus are perfectly put together, to ensure attention to detail and taste are the ultimate priorities.
Although Christmas Day is already fully booked, the bar will be open from 11am to enjoy a drink with family and friends before the festivities begin, and customers can still book for a real festive treat on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. There is also a fabulous black-tie event on New Year’s Eve to welcome in 2024 – dining in style with English sparkling wine, snacks on arrival and a special menu to enjoy.
“We always endeavour to use locally sourced produce and most recently this has included local venison and Eaves Hall Farm pork and lamb from our neighbours in the next village of West Bradford,” says Bob.
The autumn menu continues to be popular and customers especially enjoy the ever-changing lunchtime offering which has been recently updated to reflect the game season: “Lunchtime at the Rum Fox is the perfect place to unwind and share our love of the finest food, expertly presented in our cosy but luxurious surroundings,” says Bob.
It isn’t only the pub and restaurant to enjoy at the Rum Fox there is also the option to book The Den – a wonderful private space to enjoy gatherings with friends and family or the perfect spot for corporate meetings with the added use of a large wall- mounted screen: “We can accommodate up to 12 people in The Den,” explains Bob. “It’s ideal for stylish and intimate dining, entertaining clients or holding a business meeting.”
The Rum Fox is also the perfect present idea with gift vouchers on offer to treat someone special: “Customers can call in, telephone or buy online,” says Bob. “Our vouchers are for any value and are the ideal gift. We can also post them direct to the recipient with a greetings card too.”
One customer summed up their visit to the Rum Fox perfectly saying: “We absolutely loved our meal tonight it was so tasty, and we didn’t want the flavours to end!”
