The ‘C’ Word

It’s never too early to talk about the ‘C’ word. For some it’s as early as February or March, as people around the region start to plan their big night out

We’re coming to the end of summer and thoughts are turning to Christmas. Some retailers have even started putting out their festive confectionery. But the one thing that everyone looks forward to is their Christmas night out.

Whether it’s with work, friends or family, deciding where to go can be a nightmare. But booking in advance is a must to get what you want.

Fortunately, there are lots of venues in and around the Preston and Fylde area that you can take your pick from.

Party nights are always popular and there’s a variety of themes. From casino nights, murder mystery, tribute bands or a winter wonderland, these nights are getting bigger and better every year. They can prove expensive as you are paying for all the entertainment on top of your meal, but often provide a night to remember.

Mid-week can be cheaper, but make sure you take the next day off, organise a lift or stay over, as you will still be over the limit if you have been drinking for several hours.

If you just want a meal, then Preston, Lytham and Blackpool all have great places to eat with plenty of atmosphere and where meals are often set prices, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

Look around early to get the best choice and availability and you won’t be disappointed.
