Gisburn’s 18th century coaching inn, the White Bull has fast become a central hub in the local community and is the perfect place to hold your wedding or special event, writes Gail Bailey
In June 2021 Lee Hughes took over the White Bull in Gisburn making it the ideal place to relax with family and friends and, with a beautiful function room, it is also an idyllic venue to celebrate your 2022 wedding: “Our private function room is stunning and can hold up to 100 guests, making it perfect for any event,” explains Lee.
Dine in style as you celebrate with either a banquet, buffet or sit-down meal (80 people in the function room plus additional in the marquee) with delicious dishes created by experienced chef Adam Bennett.
“We are so lucky to have Adam here at the White Bull, he has a wealth of experience and has worked alongside acclaimed chef and restaurateur, Marco Pierre White,” says Lee.
To take the stress out of planning your wedding or celebration the experienced events management team at the White Bull can help with the organisation: “We are obsessed with making your day a special and memorable one.”
There is also the added benefit of a private conservatory and a wonderful secret garden offering a secluded spot for guests to unwind and relax. With a selection of eight beautifully decorated rooms in either the historic coaching inn or the courtyard, it is also the perfect place for guests to stay and continue the celebrations together.
The White Bull also has the facility to offer private dining with a special ‘chef’s table’.
“Up to 12 guests can enjoy a seven-course mix of dishes,” explains Lee. “Adam will consult beforehand and then the menu will be a culinary surprise. It is a wonderful, exclusive evening and we will ensure you and your guests have a fantastic dining experience.”
A champion of supporting charitable causes and mental health awareness, Lee and his team have arranged a charity Sportsman’s Dinner: “We are proud to put our team’s welfare and mental health at the forefront of our business model and are happy to be raising funds for such a worthwhile cause.”
