THE SHOW GOES ON!

The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show, which is one of the oldest in the country, is set to go ahead this summer in the stunning rural grounds of the Salesbury Hall Estate

The organisers of the Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show are delighted to announce that the event will take place this year. It was with great disappointment to everyone that the 2020 show had to be cancelled due to Covid.

However, they have been paying close attention to the various Government announcements and are now confident that the event can be held safely for everyone to enjoy.

The 2021 Show will once again be held within the beautiful grounds of the Salesbury Hall Estate alongside the River Ribble near Ribchester on the 30th, 31st July and 1st August.

Arrangements are forging ahead and as in previous years, there will be a huge variety of entertainment with a very substantial livestock section including cattle, sheep, rabbits, goats, pigs and poultry and an extremely large Showing section and there will also be top class showjumping.

The very popular and well-established Children’s Village and the Army will be there once again with a large display of vehicles and firearms.

Also, at the show there will be:
• Jousting Knights
• Gundog scurry
• Fishing displays
• Falconry
• Ferrets
• Shetland pony Grand Prix
• Family dog ring
• Shooting gallery
• Vintage tractors
• Classic cars
• Prosecco and Pimms bar
• Food hall
• Craft marquee
• Lifestyle marquee

There are many exhibitors coming to the show so there will be plenty of opportunities to treat yourself. Bowland Brewery will again have a large marquee with live music, serving a selection of their finest beers. In addition, many of Lancashire’s finest gin distillers will be joining the event. You won’t go hungry either as there will be a wide selection of different food offerings too.

The organisers would be delighted for you to come and join them at one of the of the oldest agricultural shows in the UK.
