It’s the season for dressing up and quite frankly anything usually goes at Christmas
As we pick out our dresses for that special party we also need to think about our hairstyle and it’s a chance for us to try something different. Braids have been in all year and Christmas is no exception. They provide an option for elegance and can be worn in numerous styles. Not only can they be smooth and sleek but look more causal, dressed to the side with strands left out and the effect messy.
If you want to go more elaborate, then try a chignon bun, top or side and combine with accessories that create sparkling brightness between the hair strands.
If you don’t want to change your style, simply add a touch of glitter. Choose a colour which is sparkling yet understated, such as gold or silver.
Waves and curls are always fashionable and add sophistication, but for a more playful look choose Christmas-themed clips for a bit of fun.
With all this wear and tear on your hair over the festive period, make sure you protect it by using the right products. A good conditioner, heat protection and shine spray will ensure your hair stays in tip top condition.
