Touch Of Luxury

Looking for soft furnishing with a touch of sophistication and elegance? Well look no further

With more than 10 years’ experience as a seamstress, Nikita Lane of Alternative Interiors and Haberdashery, started her current business from the corner of her kitchen in 2020, going on to open her store in Longridge in June this year.

Nikita is a bespoke soft furnishing specialist, covering any window treatment from curtains, roman blinds, perfect fit blinds, venetians, verticals, shutters, to Velux, as well as seat pads and upholstery. Alternative Interiors stocks fabrics by well-known suppliers, like local company Art of the Loom, as well as Becca Who, William Morris, Moon and more. Or if you prefer to use your own fabric, just bring it along and Nikita will happily make it up for you. She also supplies all accessories poles, tracks, linings and tapes.

As well as working with the public, Nikita has been commissioned by a number of interior designers to help furnish residential and commercial properties, with a recent contract being at a hotel in the Lake District. She would love you to call into the store so she can show you the designers she works with.

Supporting local businesses in her community is important to Nikita, which is why she stocks Longridge stained glass in the store, and if you want to start your own project she also stocks a wide range of sewing accessories.
