Travel In Style

When we book our holidays, chances are we’ve either gone through a travel agent on the high street or looked online, but have you thought about a personal travel consultant?

Who are they?
A personal travel consultant will usually be affiliated with a franchise company. Consultants operate as individual businesses but have the backing of a large organisation so they are able to plug into commercial partnerships, ticketing/admin, finance, marketing support and take advantage of economies of scale etc, so they can focus on customer service and building personal relationships with their clients.

Benefits of using
They will take the time to get to know you and what you’re looking for and interested in and tailor make the perfect holiday. They’re interested in building relationships, so they want to know if it’s a special trip for an anniversary or birthday, so they can look how to make it extra special for you.

They make it easy, they’re a one stop shop so you don’t need to do the comparisons yourself. Let them know what you’re looking for and your budget and then let them use their experience and knowledge. Unlike you going online yourself, they have access to industry offers and different accommodation which you’d never see, plus why waste hours trawling through website after website when someone can do it for you and be there at the end of a phone to talk through any updates you want.

Personal travel consultants are independent, so they can book anything that’s offered on the high street and major tour operators like Tui, Jet2, Kuoni etc and they won’t push you to use a particular operator, as they want to just deliver the best options to you. As they are paid by the tour operators, they do not charge you a management fee – they are cost comparable to booking online or via the high street, but their real value is having a real human to talk to, at a time that suits you in a way that suits you, from email, phone, Skype or even meeting in your local coffee shop.

According to travel consultant Sarah Freeman, it’s the little things that make a difference. “We take the hassle out of booking your holiday and arrange everything for you,” she says. From offering complete flexibility of your holiday, booking seats, checking you in online, expertise, we’ll give you honest holiday reviews and are with you every step of the way. What’s more we’re available 24/7 and we are backed by ATOL, so you can have every confidence that your holiday booked with a personal travel consultant will be the perfect holiday for you.”
