Probably one of the most apt awards to have been bestowed on Everything Retreat in Mellor, is LUXlife’s Most Idyllic Accommodation 2023 Award.
In their award criteria, LUXlife says: “We are proud to highlight our winners’ efforts, innovation and creativity when it comes to delivering the best of the best for their myriad of customers. Stretching across the globe, the luxury resorts and retreats industry has been a prevalent force for exquisite self-care, sophistication and exclusive experiences.”
Tucked away in the rolling hills of Mellor in the Ribble Valley, Everything Retreat launched just over 12 months ago and from the outset it was destined to become a winner.
Alongside the LUXlife award, closer to home the retreat won a Stars in Tourism Award for Innovation at the 2023 Ribble Valley Tourism Awards, which described Everything Retreat, saying: “They don’t come more innovative than this! Here you are invited to disconnect from the stresses and strains of everyday life with an experience of pure quality and wellness in the heart of the Ribble Valley.”
Hot on the heels of this award came the Ribble Valley Business Awards, which named Everything Retreat as Best New Business winner and Social Media Champion.
Everything Retreat owner Louise Monk and her team also took Best Idyllic Retreat (North West England) at the CEO Awards and the retreat was also named a finalist in the Lancashire Tourism Awards for Best New Tourism Business and Best Self Catering Accommodation.
It’s been a busy time for Louise who has welcomed more than 1500 UK-wide and international visitors to the retreat – testament to their success as a totally exclusive hideaway that has pure luxury and enjoyment at its heart.
With 12 beautifully furnished lodges all with outdoor hot tubs, the retreat has become renowned for providing guests with a first-class concierge service that deals with everything from restaurant bookings to local chauffeur services that will transport guests to their chosen destination.
Everything Retreat has also forged collaborations with some of the region’s best restaurants including Michelin-starred Northcote.
As a champion of local businesses, Louise explains: “We enjoy many successful collaborations with local restaurants and with local businesses through our unique concierge service.”
As the name suggests Everything Retreat delivers just about everything a guest could wish for – a delicious continental breakfast hamper in one of the luxury lodges, a quintessentially English afternoon tea or why not enjoy tapas in the lovely on-site Balance Bar after a day of discovery in the Ribble Valley? Louise has local team of artisan suppliers – from butchers, bakers and suppliers of exclusive wines, everything has been considered to ensure a first-class experience.
With the arrival of warmer weather, on the last Saturday of the month, guests staying at Everything Retreat can experience chilled Balearic vibes at the Sunset Sessions with a DJ and music on the terrace, drinks and wood-fired pizza or barbecued burgers.
