Founded in 1976, by Michael Scott’s father, auctioneer Philip H Scott, Hutchinson Scott is now owned by Michael Scott and his business partner Paul Hodson. Michael and Paul both grew up in the world of antiques and passionately travel the length and breadth of the country in search of interesting pieces to bring to auction.
They offer a comprehensive valuation service for insurance purposes and probate. Pre-sales appraisals and valuations are free of charge.

Pre-Christmas Auction 2nd December.
With 300 lots on offer and a focus on small items and collectables, this auction is an ideal opportunity for gift hunting.
Lots include jewellery, wristwatches including Rolex and Omega, a beautiful opalescent Lalique vase and a country sports section including a 1930s pair of solid silver and silver gilt pheasants.

23rd January Auction.
This is a fine arts sale held over two days offering some larger items including antique furniture, paintings, weaponry, clocks, barometers, oriental, ceramics and much more.
Items will be available for viewing a week prior to auction.
Auctions are held at the mill and every auction has live internet bidding.
