NP Integrated Technology was established in the early 1990s by Nigel Pilling, who at the time began working out of his parents’ garage. Now based in stylish showrooms in Barrowford, and with a team of over 20 highly skilled technicians and engineers, the company is committed to offering an exceptional service to clients working with the most innovative and creative suppliers.
The company provides an outstanding service for both the commercial and residential market.
“The smart home technology arm of the business stemmed from developing a commercial system and remodelling it for the residential environment, a bit like the technology we see in Formula 1 cars being used in the future cars we drive on the road,” explains Chris Shaw NP’s Residential Manager.
“There are very few companies out there that can be specialists in both fields, but this is the unique position we find ourselves in.”
NP Integrated Technology offer clients a one-stop-shop for their home systems making the process simple and stress free, from initial consultation and conception to installing the cabling and systems, and finally, a comprehensive post-install support service.
Having been in business for over 30 years the company works with an array of first-class technology suppliers which ensures they are very much independent with regards to the systems they can offer: “We can provide an entirely bespoke service to suit individual needs. Whatever the reason for looking at home integrated systems, we can listen to ideas and work with clients to make them a reality,” says Chris.
Audio visual technology is one area that has evolved dramatically in recent years. “Integrated home entertainment systems are the most technologically advanced way of watching TV and listening to music in the comfort of your home,” Chris explains. “We can work with clients to install items including invisible wall speakers, hidden TVs and moving wall panels which will all create a unique audio visual experience.”
High resolution amplifiers and picture quality are features that are important to clients, says Chris. As technology advances NP Integrated Technology is on hand to give expert advice on the latest trends, and the company is now able to guide consumers on the emergence of 8k high resolution TVs.
As Chris explains: “Being established for so long has allowed us the good fortune to see technology develop from its infancy to what it is today and also, importantly, what the future holds.”
