WHATEVER THE WEATHER

At this cold and invariably wet and dreary time of year it would be understandable for outdoor entertaining to not be at the top of your list of things to consider

If you cast your minds back to those balmy spring and summer days of last year, Lancashire’s weather was more akin to that of the Côte d’Azur and North Yorkshire, the Algarve.

Let’s be honest, it wasn’t all blue skies and parasols, but those lucky individuals who had the foresight to plan their special occasion to take place in a Bowland Marquee structure couldn’t have failed to have been absolutely delighted with the results.

Whether it be a beautiful traditional petal pole marquee in which to host a rural styled wedding reception, a contemporary and versatile stretch tent to host a corporate function, or a Chinese hat pagoda in which to hold a special birthday celebration, Bowland Marquees will work with you to find the perfect marquee.

With exceptional customer service coming as standard, Bowland Marquees will conduct a complimentary site survey to establish the most suitable marquee for your needs, discuss with you the desired look, feel and scale of the event and provide a free, no obligation quotation.

Proving exceptionally popular as always, is our petal pole marquee (see photo below), with its name owing to its pretty petal-like scalloped roofline. Similar in style to the very desirable and much higher priced sailcloth style marquee, the petal pole marquee is definitely one for the traditionalist with its distinctive flowing roofline, wooden poles and having the option to be fully open, partially closed or fully closed with either solid slides or full-height windows.

Always a conversation piece, owing to their sleek lines and flexible layouts, are Bowland Marquees’ range of stretch tents (see photo to left). Purchased from a world-class manufacturer in South Africa, these structures can fit almost anywhere – be it in a field, a back lawn, or even on hard standing areas.

More suitable for a smaller, more intimate event are Chinese hat pagodas (see photo above). They can fit into an average sized back garden and can be joined together to create a larger entertaining space. These very attractive and cost-effective structures can be open, partially closed or completely enclosed to create a fabulous, cosy space.

So, here’s to another vintage summer – but, if the sun doesn’t shine and, dare I say it, if we have a drop of rain, all our structures will keep you perfectly dry and we do have marquee heaters available for hire too…
